Street sector,
professional services.

We recognize that our clients are busy and their attention is pulled in a hundred different directions. With this in mind, we set monthly goals, and walk them through a clear, replicable development process.

Our job is to manage the project and make sure goals are being hit.

Our clients’ job is to co-develop the plan, approve its direction, and complete the weekly and monthly tasks that are set.

Together, we get projects built and operating.

Our services

Project Initiation

We work with our client's team to establish what the project is, who it is for, and who will be part of the core team that will deliver and operate it. This includes visioning, team management, and partnership development.

Research

A successful project is grounded in real information. The research phase explores everything that is known about what our clients are trying to achieve, and make sure their project is built on a solid foundation.

This work includes:

a) a Secondary Data Scan – outlining operating models that already exist, formal research done to date, and white papers and evaluations that are analyzed for relation to the project.

b) a Lived Experience Engagement – grounded in the belief of 'nothing about us without us',

this stream checks in with the target demographic to understand whether they think this is a good idea and how it could be improved. The outcome is a short report outlining their feedback, including basic demographics, views on the project, proposed changes based on feedback, and opportunities for ongoing engagement.

c) a Stakeholder & Peer Engagement report – meeting with subject-matter experts outside the organization to hear comments, gather feedback, and map potential challenges. This may include conversations with frontline staff, directors at other agencies, funders, political leadership, and academics or researchers.

Communications & Project Advancement

Once the model is solidified and backed by research, it is time to bring it forward to the people who need to buy in to make it a reality. This phase focuses on sharing the idea publicly, securing funding, finding land, and bringing partners on board. We help our clients:

  • Create polished communications that can be shared with the general public (website, written materials, graphics)

  • Support fundraising and grant writing activities

  • Formally onboard partners, drafting MOUs or other partnership documents

  • Engage with civil society & community groups to build public support

  • Retain a real estate agent and begin a comprehensive site search and securing a location

Capital Delivery

Before the project can go from being a concept to a fully operational program, it has to be designed, funded, approved by local government, and constructed. This phase walks through the process of going from a blank site to a fully-realized architectural design. We provide our clients:

  • A capital delivery roadmap document (including permitting requirements)

  • Schematic site plans and building plans, for development alongside planning, architectural and trades partners

  • Development management, including chairing project meetings, construction drawing set coordination, permitting & approvals, budget tracking, and project scheduling

  • Construction tracking, including regular site visits & liaising with trades

Training

A project will only be as effective as the frontline team’s ability to deliver it. We support our clients in preparing their staff to operate the program effectively and consistently. This includes:

  • In-person staff training to set culture and expectations around the project

  • Developing a staff manual that translates client values into daily practice

  • Creating custom Standard Operating Procedures for common challenges

  • Partnership coordination (how program staff will interact with partner agencies)

Impact Assessment

Once the project is up and running, its effectivenessimpact must be demonstrated. This phase establishes an ongoing success measurement criteriaprocess so the project leadership can have key information for decision-making, control their own data, craft their own narrative, and meet all reporting requirements. We support:

  • Setting clear goals for the project to define success on its own terms

  • Training staff on data collection best practices

  • Conducting baseline assessments of participants on program entry

  • Regular progress check-ins to track change see how they change over time

  • Producing reports for funders, annual reports, and supporting internal decision-making

Ending homelessness takes projects large and small.

Building a project to support people living in homelessness, addictions, and deep poverty is not easy. This framework helps us break this process down into discrete, actionable steps, and create a structure where project leaders can guide their organization through their project efficiently, without putting too much strain on themselves or their core team.

Whether it fits neatly into one of the boxes above or is perhaps a mix of things, contact us for a free consultation to see if our services can benefit your project.
